RecSport Technology

RecSport® Technology

RecSport® Technology is Endless Pools' entry-tier swim-current platform and the defining propulsion system of the R-Series. Per Endless Pools, RecSport® delivers a "smooth, adjustable RecSport® jetted current for fun, all-level fitness and uninterrupted swims." The system is a multi-speed jetted current rather than a dedicated propulsion pump like Hydrodrive™ on the E-Series or SwimCross® on the X-Series. RecSport® powers the R200, R220, and R500 in a wood-frame chassis at the value-tier price point.

What It Is

RecSport® Technology is the jetted-current variant of Endless Pools' swim-current portfolio. Where Hydrodrive™ on the E-Series uses a single 5 HP dedicated swim pump and SwimCross® on the X-Series uses twin 2.5 HP propulsion pumps, RecSport® uses a multi-speed jetted current designed for fun, all-level fitness, and recreational swimming.

The R-Series identity is recreation and family. RecSport® is the answer for if you want a real Endless Pools swim spa, with the Endless Pools dealer network and warranty framework, but at the value-tier configuration: jetted current, wood frame, 30-amp standard electrical, and a recreation-first identity.

How It Works

The mechanical specification per the Endless Pools spec grid:

  • Multi-speed jetted current rather than a dedicated propulsion pump
  • R200 and R220 list a 2.5 HP pump; the R500 current is driven through the spa's jet array per the published product page
  • 230 V / 30 amp electrical service standard across the R-Series, with 230 V / 60 amp optional on the R220 and R500
  • 4,000 W / 230 V heater sized for year-round operation
  • CD Ozone water care across the R-Series for sanitization
  • Wood Frame with Thermoformed ABS Base Pan substructure across all three models

The 30-amp standard electrical is one of the practical differentiators of the R-Series. The E-Series and X-Series both require 60-amp service; the R-Series ships with a 30-amp service standard for friendlier retrofit installs.

Where It Ships

RecSport® Technology is standard equipment on every R-Series model carried at Seven Seas. The R-Series is the only Endless Pools tier that ships with RecSport®.

R-Series (Value Tier, 3 Models)

R-Series (Value Tier, 3 Models)

  • R500, 15-foot most-spacious R-Series, recreational and family use, 24 LED lighting, and the most affordable 15-foot Endless Pools swim spa
  • R220, 12-foot entertainment-focused, 31 jets, 9 seats, framed as "The Ultimate Party Pool"
  • R200, 12-foot family-friendly, 27 jets, shallow entry zone designed for active families with young children

All three models use the wood-frame chassis with a thermoformed ABS base pan. The R-Series is the only Endless Pools tier with this construction approach; the E-Series and X-Series use galvanized steel where specified.

RecSport® and the R-Series Stack

RecSport® is the propulsion technology, but the R-Series experience also depends on the rest of the stack:

  • Wood Frame with Thermoformed ABS Base Pan substructure across all three models
  • Molded Acrylic Shell in Alpine White or Ice Gray with a Mocha or Gray cabinet
  • 40-inch water depth across the series
  • 4,000 W / 230 V heater with an included GFCI sub-panel
  • CD Ozone water care as the standard sanitization platform
  • Tri-Thermic Barrier System thermal package, called out specifically on the R220 spec
  • R220 jet headline: 31 jets, more than any current Endless Pools swim spa model
  • R200 shallow entry zone, engineered for active families with young children

RecSport® delivers the swim current. The rest of the R-Series stack determines the year-round comfort, family-recreation usability, and install profile.

Buying Considerations

RecSport® is a jetted current; Hydrodrive™ and SwimCross® are dedicated propulsion systems. A jetted current is well suited to recreational swimming, water aerobics, family play, and lighter exercise.

The R-Series runs 230 V / 30 amp standard, with 230 V / 60 amp available as a field-adjustable upgrade on the R220 and R500. The 30-amp standard is friendlier for retrofit installs where the existing electrical panel cannot easily support a 60-amp circuit.

R-Series swim spas are built on a wood-frame chassis with a thermoformed ABS base pan. This is the value-tier construction approach, engineered to support the more accessible price point.

The R200 is the family-first 12-foot variant with a shallow entry zone. The R220 is the entertainment-first 12-foot variant with the highest jet count in the current Endless Pools swim-spa lineup. The R500 is the 15-foot most-spacious variant for households that want more interior room.

RecSport® feels different from Hydrodrive™ and SwimCross®. Seven Seas advisors arrange private wet-test soak appointments with the swim current running at multiple pace settings. Call or stop by your local location to confirm which R-Series models are currently on display.

RecSport® does not require feature-specific maintenance beyond the standard R-Series routine. CD Ozone covers daily sanitization; filtration runs on the standard monthly cadence covered in the swim-spa filter care guide.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. RecSport® is the dedicated R-Series swim-current technology. The E-Series uses Hydrodrive™ and the X-Series uses SwimCross®.

Per the Endless Pools spec grid, the R200 and R220 list a 2.5 HP pump driving the jetted current. The R500 spec entry leaves the pump field blank in the published grid; the current is driven through the spa's jet array.

No. Endless Pools does not publish a competitive race-pace number for RecSport®. The system is positioned around recreation, family-fun, and all-level fitness rather than competitive lap pace.

The R-Series runs 230 V / 30 amp standard with an included GFCI sub-panel. The R220 and R500 both offer a 230 V / 60 amp optional field-adjustable upgrade.

The R220 carries 31 jets, the highest jet count in the current Endless Pools swim-spa lineup. The R220 is the entertainment-focused R-Series model with seating for nine.

RecSport® supports uninterrupted recreational lap swimming at the speeds the jetted current can hold. It is not engineered for race-pace lap training; that is the role of Hydrodrive™ on the E-Series.

The R-Series uses CD Ozone for sanitization across the three models. The E-Series and X-Series ship with UVC + CD Ozone in their swim zones.
