What makes the Grand Atlantis distinct: it is the largest rectangular fiberglass shell Nowak makes. At 38 feet of outside length and 16 feet of width, it is the right answer when you have the yard to hold a full-size rectangular pool and want the longest casual lap-swim distance Nowak offers (30 feet of floor between the entry steps and the deep wall).

Who the Grand Atlantis Is Built For

The Grand Atlantis fits you if you want:
  • The largest rectangular fiberglass pool Nowak builds.
  • A 6'3" deep end for casual diving from the deck, underwater play, and deeper-water swim drills.
  • Wide molded entry steps (7' wide) that read as architectural and support safe gathered entry.
  • 30 feet of floor for casual lap swim.
  • A long bench along one wall for in-water seating.
It's a less efficient match if you want:
  • A more compact rectangular pool. The Atlantis (32' × 14') is the smaller sibling.
  • A beach entry. The Zero Entry is the only Nowak with a zero-depth beach.
  • A freeform shape. Look at the Aruba, Jupiter Island, Play Pool, or Subdivision.
  • A real diving-board deep end. Even at 6'3", the deep end is short of what residential diving boards require under most codes.

Depth Profile and Floor Layout

The Grand Atlantis depth chart runs:

  • Shallow end: 3'7" at the foot of the entry steps.
  • Mid floor: 4'11" across the long center span.
  • Deep end: 6'3" at the deep wall.

The transition is a gentle slope across 30 feet of floor. The 6'3" deep end is enough for casual jumps from the deck, underwater play, and deeper-water training. It is not enough for a residential diving board under most codes.

The molded entry steps at the shallow end are 7 feet wide, the widest in the Nowak lineup. The width supports gathered entry by a group and reads as an architectural feature in its own right.

Gelcoat Finish Options

The 2025 surface upgrade applies: non-pigmented gelcoat with granite-chip backing. The Grand Atlantis's larger footprint reads especially well in the deeper Maya Mist, which gives the larger water surface more visual depth, or in Gray Ocean Mist for a more contemporary architectural read.

Grand Atlantis vs. Other Nowak Models

Grand Atlantis vs. Atlantis

Grand Atlantis vs. Atlantis

Same rectangular family with the same entry-step-plus-bench layout. The Grand Atlantis is 38' × 16' outside vs. the Atlantis's 32' × 14'. Grand Atlantis adds: deeper deep end (6'3" vs. 5'10"), wider entry stair (7' vs. 5'6"), and 4 more feet of floor length. Pick Grand Atlantis if the yard fits it; pick Atlantis for mid-size yards.

Grand Atlantis vs. Zero Entry

Grand Atlantis vs. Zero Entry

Both are 40' × 16' or larger and the Zero Entry is also rectangular. Grand Atlantis has 30 feet of swim floor and a molded entry stair; Zero Entry uses a portion of its length for the beach-entry slope and is the only Nowak with a true zero-depth entry. Pick Grand Atlantis for maximum swim floor; pick Zero Entry for the beach.

Grand Atlantis vs. Aruba

Grand Atlantis vs. Aruba

Both reach a deep end at or near 6 feet. Grand Atlantis is rectangular at 38' × 16'; Aruba is freeform at 34' × 14'. Pick Grand Atlantis for rectangular architectural geometry; pick Aruba for the freeform landscape look with comparable depth.

The Grand Atlantis is the right answer when you have the yard to hold a full-size rectangular pool and want the longest swim floor Nowak offers. Seven Seas Pools & Spas can walk you through the gelcoat color options, confirm the dig specs for your yard, and map out the decking and equipment details before your project moves forward.

Common Questions

40' × 18'. Plan for additional clearance around the dig for backfill and surround decking. A 26' × 50' usable yard area is a reasonable starting point for the Grand Atlantis plus a standard deck surround.

6'3" at the deep wall. The slope runs from 3'7" at the entry to 6'3" across 30 feet of floor.

A 6'3" deep end is short of what most residential diving-board codes require. Casual jumps from the deck are fine. For a true diving installation, fiberglass is generally not the right construction method.

7' wide. The widest entry stair in the Nowak lineup.

30 feet of floor between the entry steps and the deep wall. Enough for casual lap swim; for dedicated training, an Endless Pools swim spa is the better appliance.

Nowak's warranty position is that salt is not recommended on the gelcoat. Traditional chlorine sanitization is the recommended path. See the Nowak brand page for the full context.

About two weeks start to finish on a typical Seven Seas Nowak install, though larger shells like the Grand Atlantis can run slightly longer on the decking phase due to the bigger surround.
