What makes the Subdivision distinct: it is named for the yard it fits. The 33' × 13' dig profile is sized for a typical suburban subdivision lot, the kind of yard that can hold a real freeform pool but not a full-size 40-foot pool. At 6 feet deep at the far end, it gives you the depth of a much larger pool in a compact footprint.

Who the Subdivision Is Built For

The Subdivision fits you if you want:
  • A real freeform pool that fits in a typical subdivision yard.
  • A 6-foot deep end for casual diving from the deck, underwater play, and deeper-water swim.
  • Built-in bench seating for in-water cool-down.
  • A curvy silhouette that reads as a landscape feature.
  • A pool that goes in on a standard suburban lot without requiring a major yard regrade.

Depth Profile and Floor Layout

The Subdivision depth chart runs:

  • Shallow end: 3'11" at the entry.
  • Mid floor: 5' across the center span.
  • Deep end: 6' at the far wall.

The shallow end at 3'11" is on the deeper side of "shallow" for a fiberglass pool. That puts the entire pool in swim-comfortable depth: even the shallow end is at chest-to-shoulder for an average adult. The trade-off: there's no proper wading zone, so toddlers and very young children will need supervision throughout the pool. For yards with small kids who need a wading zone, the Zero Entry is the better answer.

The 6-foot deep end is the same depth as the Aruba and gives you the same casual-diving and deeper-water capability in a smaller pool.

Subdivision vs. Other Nowak Models

Subdivision vs. Aruba

Subdivision vs. Aruba

Both freeform with 6-foot deep ends. Subdivision is smaller (33' × 13' dig) than Aruba (35' × 15' dig) and uses a different curve silhouette. Pick Subdivision if the yard pushes you toward the smaller footprint; pick Aruba if the yard fits the larger shell.

Subdivision vs. Play Pool

Subdivision vs. Play Pool

Both freeform around 32-33' length. Subdivision reaches 6' deep with curvier sides; Play Pool reaches 5'10" with side-bump seating zones. Pick by silhouette preference and by which seating arrangement fits how you'll use the pool.

Subdivision vs. Jupiter Island

Subdivision vs. Jupiter Island

Both freeform. Subdivision is more compact at 33' × 13' and reaches 6' deep; Jupiter Island is 34' × 14' with a 4'6" main floor and the TL ledge variant available. Pick Subdivision for depth in a compact footprint; pick Jupiter Island for the peanut silhouette or the ledge option.

Subdivision vs. Little Lounger

Subdivision vs. Little Lounger

Both designed for compact yards. Subdivision is a real swim pool (33' × 13', 6' deep); Little Lounger is a plunge (14' × 8', 4' uniform depth). Pick Subdivision if the yard fits a real swim pool; pick Little Lounger if the yard cannot.

Ready to build the Nowak Subdivision?

The Subdivision is the right answer when the yard fits a real freeform pool but won't accommodate a full-size 40-foot shell. Seven Seas Pools & Spas can walk you through the gelcoat color options, confirm the dig specs for your yard, and map out the decking and equipment details before your project moves forward.

Common Questions

The name reflects the design intent: a real freeform pool sized to fit a typical suburban subdivision lot.

Plan for additional clearance around the 33' × 13' dig for backfill and surround decking. A 25' × 45' usable yard area is a reasonable starting point for the Subdivision plus a standard deck surround.

A 6-foot deep end is enough for casual jumps from the deck. It is not enough for a residential diving board under most codes.

Built into one curve of the shell at chest-height-for-seated-adult depth. The exact location is in the dig diagram; we walk through it during the consultation.

The 3'11" shallow end keeps the entire pool in swim-comfortable depth and maximizes usable swim water in a compact footprint. The trade-off is the lack of a true wading zone for small kids.

No. The Jupiter Island TL is the Nowak freeform with a factory ledge.

Nowak's warranty position is that salt is not recommended on the gelcoat. See the Nowak brand page for the full context.

About two weeks start to finish for the shell, the electric, and the concrete decking on a typical Seven Seas Nowak install.
