E700 Swim Spa

E-Series Swim Spas by Endless Pools

The E700 is the 17-foot E-Series swim spa from Endless Pools, the swim-spa specialist brand within the Watkins Wellness family. Built around Hydrodrive™ adjustable swim-current technology with a 5 HP swim pump, the E700 stretches the swim zone to 17 feet (2 feet longer than the E500) while keeping the same 89-inch beam, 48-inch swim depth, and dual-layer UVC + CD Ozone water care. The E700 is the balanced fitness-and-relaxation E-Series spa, room to go big, with ample space for fitness, uninterrupted swimming, and full-body relaxation. Hydrodrive™ supports swimmers from beginner pace through race pace in the same shell. Two configurations are offered: standard swim, or swim with the optional Underwater Treadmill for low-impact walking and running workouts. The E700 is sold and serviced through Seven Seas Pools & Spas.

Who the E700 Is Built For

The E700 fits households that want the longest single-tank E-Series swim zone with the full Hydrodrive™ swim machine, 2 extra feet of swim length over the E500, in a 17-foot footprint that still supports 3 hydromassage seats and 27 jets for relaxation use. The E700 gives lap swimmers room to stretch out while still leaving space for full-body relaxation. It sits between the E500 (15') and the dual-temperature E2000 (20'), the 17-foot length gives competitive lap swimmers a longer run between turn intervals while staying in the single-tank simpler-installation envelope.

It is not the right swim spa for households who:
  • Need separate swim and spa zones at different temperatures, see the dual-temperature E2000 (20 feet, two physical zones at separate temps) or X2000
  • Want a wider workout-focused beam without fixed seating, see the E550 (15' × 94", standing-room-only)
  • Want a smaller footprint, see the E500 (15') or any R-Series / X-Series spa
  • Want a recreation-focused swim spa at a more accessible price tier, see the R-Series (RecSport®) or X-Series (SwimCross®)
  • Prefer a hot-tub-only experience without swim function, Seven Seas carries Caldera Spas and Hot Spring Spas for traditional hot tub installations

Variants and Configuration Options

The E700 is offered in two configurations, same shell, same swim current, same hydromassage seats, with the difference being whether the Underwater Treadmill is installed in the swim zone.

E700 Swim standard configuration

E700 Swim (Standard Configuration)

The base E700. Three hydromassage seats, the Hydrodrive™ adjustable swim current, 27 jets, and a 17-foot open swim zone for lap swimming, freestyle drills, and water-aerobic workouts. This is the right configuration if you're focused on uninterrupted swimming and seated hydromassage.

E700 Swim with Underwater Treadmill

E700 Swim + Underwater Treadmill (Optional Configuration)

The same E700 with the Underwater Treadmill installed in the swim zone, exclusive technology for low-impact workouts. You walk or run on a submerged belt while the swim current adjusts to match pace. The treadmill adds approximately 125 pounds of dry weight and reduces water capacity by 50 gallons (2,100 vs 2,150). Functionally, the spa still supports swim laps when the treadmill is not in use; the treadmill is a dual-purpose addition rather than a replacement of swim function.

See if the E700 fits your space

Review the footprint, Hydrodrive™ current, optional treadmill, and delivery requirements with a Seven Seas advisor.

The E700 Swim Spa Experience

Sessions in the E700 follow a three-zone rhythm: swim (current on, treadmill off, swimming laps or doing freestyle drills against the adjustable Hydrodrive™ current; the 17-foot length gives serious lap swimmers more uninterrupted run between turn intervals); workout (current on, treadmill engaged on the optional configuration, walking or jogging the underwater belt at matched pace); and recover (current off, hydromassage seats engaged, soaking in the contoured 3-seat zone with 27 jets across neck-to-feet coverage). Ample space for fitness, uninterrupted swimming, and full-body relaxation in one shell.

The E700 Swim Spa Experience

Because the E700 is a single-tank spa (the entire ~2,150-gallon volume runs at one temperature), if you want their swim zone cooler than a soak temperature should evaluate the E2000 dual-temperature option.

How the E700 Compares to Other Endless Pools Series

Endless Pools structures its lineup around three series, each tuned to a different swimming style.

E-SERIES Swim Spas

E-Series, Hydrodrive™ Technology, premium adjustable current with race-pace ceiling (1:08 per 100 yards). The E700 lives here. 14-gauge galvanized steel frame, 5 HP pump (E500/E700/E2000) or 2.5 HP (E550). Models: E500, E550, E700, E2000 (dual-temperature). Best for serious lap swimmers.

R-SERIES Swim Spas

R-Series, RecSport®, recreation- and family-focused. Smaller pumps, wood frame with thermoformed ABS base pan, simpler current system. Models: R200, R220, R500. Best for recreational swim, kids' play, and lighter exercise.

View R-series Swim Spas
X-SERIES Swim Spas

X-Series, SwimCross®, cross-training-focused. Twin 2.5 HP pump architecture. Models: X500, X2000 (dual-temperature). Best for if you want a cross-trainer current emphasizing aerobic workouts.

If you're cross-shopping the traditional hot tub category instead of swim spas, Seven Seas also carries Caldera Spas and Hot Spring Spas lineups.

Ready for a private E700 wet test?

The E700 is part of the lineup carried by Seven Seas Pools & Spas. Call ahead or stop by your local showroom to confirm current showroom availability. Visiting a showroom is the fastest way to feel the Hydrodrive™ current at multiple pace settings, sit in the 3-seat hydromassage zone, evaluate both Alpine White and Ice Gray shell finishes in person, and (where on display) walk the optional Underwater Treadmill. Call or visit your local Seven Seas Pools & Spas location to schedule a private wet-test soak appointment with the models currently on the floor. Seven Seas advisors can also walk through site-prep, electrical-coordination, and delivery logistics during the same visit.

Installation and Delivery

The E700 requires a 230 V / 60 amp / 60 Hz circuit wired to a GFCI sub-panel, the sub-panel ships with the spa.

Site requirements:

Installation and Delivery
  • Level reinforced concrete pad rated for 22,685 lbs filled (or higher with the treadmill option), or a deck engineered for the same load

  • Service clearance on at least one side for equipment access

  • 17-foot minimum length for the spa shell, plus delivery / craning clearance

Seven Seas Pools & Spas coordinates the full delivery and installation flow: site assessment, electrical coordination with a licensed electrician, delivery scheduling, GFCI sub-panel mounting, post-fill water balancing, and a hands-on walkthrough of the Hydrodrive™ controls. Swim spas are heavier and longer than hot tubs, the E700's 17-foot length means most installations need a craning service or a clear straight-line delivery path. The Seven Seas team handles the logistics so the buyer doesn't have to.

Water Care and Ongoing Maintenance

The UVC + CD Ozone Dual-layer sanitization keeps weekly water-care simple. UV-C light handles waterborne bacteria as water passes through the system; corona-discharge ozone provides a secondary oxidation layer. The system is APSP 14 compliant and CEC certified for energy efficiency.

Filter cleaning runs on a monthly cadence for the 200 sq. ft. cartridge, see the swim spa filter care guide in the owners area. Endless Pools recommends a full drain-and-refill on the standard swim-spa cycle (typically every 3-6 months depending on use intensity); Seven Seas walks every owner through the schedule during the post-delivery handoff.

Frequently Asked Questions

Both are E-Series spas with the same Hydrodrive™ swim current (116 pace settings, 1:08 max pace), 89-inch beam, 48-inch swim depth, 3 hydromassage seats, 27 jets, UVC + CD Ozone water care, and 230 V / 60 amp service. The E500 is 15 feet long; the E700 is 17 feet long, 2 extra feet of swim zone for serious lap swimmers, at the cost of a longer footprint and ~10% more water volume. Visit a Seven Seas showroom to compare side-by-side.

The E700 is a single-tank 17-foot spa running at one temperature throughout. The E2000 is a dual-temperature 20-foot spa with a 5-foot spa zone (350 gal, hot-tub temperature) and a 15-foot swim zone (2,000 gal, swim temperature) running simultaneously through the same shell. If you want hot-tub soaking simultaneous with cooler swim sessions look at the E2000; if you want a longer single-tank lap pool look at the E700.

This is a configuration choice made at order. The treadmill installs in the swim zone during manufacturing. Ask your Seven Seas advisor about adding the treadmill to your order before delivery; field-retrofit options vary and a Seven Seas advisor can walk through current possibilities.

The Hydrodrive™ Technology system is rated for a maximum pace of 1:08 per 100 yards (1:11 per 100 meters), with 116 adjustable pace settings between zero and the maximum. That's competitive lap pace, slow enough for a beginner, fast enough for a serious swimmer.

The E700's standard electrical service is 230 V / 60 amp / 60 Hz. The 60-amp service is required to run the 5 HP swim pump plus the 4 kW heater plus the hydromassage jets concurrently. The spa includes a GFCI sub-panel.

Yes. The 4,000 W / 230 V heater is sized for year-round operation in U.S. climates. The 14-gauge galvanized steel frame and durable all-season cabinet are engineered for outdoor installation, with insulated cabinet construction. Ask a Seven Seas advisor for an operating-cost estimate based on your climate zone.

Endless Pools does not publish a single warranty page on the E700 product page. Seven Seas walks every E700 buyer through the current Endless Pools warranty document at the time of sale, the structure typically includes a multi-year shell warranty plus shorter terms on components and labor. Ask for the latest warranty PDF when you visit a showroom.

Standard E700 delivery from Seven Seas runs 6-12 weeks from order, depending on current Endless Pools production lead times, configuration (swim vs swim+treadmill), and the cabinet color combination. Inventory in stock at Seven Seas locations can ship faster.

Yes, with proper ventilation and drainage. Indoor swim-spa installations require an electrician-approved 230 V / 60 amp feed, a moisture-resistant floor structure rated for 22,685+ lbs filled, active humidity ventilation (swim spas evaporate more water than hot tubs), and code-compliant drainage. The E700's 17-foot length may also affect indoor doorway/clearance feasibility, verify with a Seven Seas advisor. See the swim-spa indoor installation guide for full requirements.

Yes. The E700 is sold and serviced through Seven Seas Pools & Spas. Call ahead or stop by your local location to see whether the E700 is currently on display and to book a private wet-test soak appointment, feel the Hydrodrive™ current, sit in the hydromassage seats, and (where the optional treadmill is on display) walk the underwater belt. The showroom team also walks through delivery + install timelines and electrical-prep coordination during the visit.
