Who the Beam™ Is Built For

The Beam fits households that want a compact 4-person hot tub with mid-tier Limelight features and the option of a 115 V plug-and-play install. At 6'8" × 6'8" × 33" tall, the Beam is the smallest Limelight footprint, and the only Limelight model that ships convertible between 115 V plug-and-play and 230 V hardwired. That makes the Beam the natural Limelight choice if you don't want to run a dedicated 230 V circuit, or who want to start on 115 V and convert to 230 V later as installation circumstances change. Installation and Delivery

The Beam is the only Limelight model with a convertible electrical configuration:

115 V / 20 amp Plug-N-Play, connects to a standard 115 V outlet via a GFCI-protected power cord. The 1,500 W heater operates at lower power, meaning slower heat-up and a maximum jet+heat draw constrained by the 20 amp circuit. Suitable for installations where running a dedicated 230 V line is impractical
230 V / 50 amp Convertible, hardwired to a GFCI sub-panel (included). The 6,000 W heater operates at full power for faster heat-up and full simultaneous jet operation

Site requirements for either configuration:

Level reinforced concrete pad, deck capable of supporting 3,860 lbs filled, or a prepared spa pad
24" minimum service clearance on at least one side for equipment access
Standard delivery to ground-level installations

With FreshWater® Salt System Ready plumbing, the Beam accepts the FreshWater® salt-water sanitization platform as an optional add-on at delivery or any time after. When fitted, week-to-week maintenance reduces to monitoring water clarity and replacing the salt cartridge when prompted. Adding Smart Monitoring + Dosing brings hourly chemistry monitoring and step-by-step dosing instructions through the Hot Spring Spas App.

The 100% no-bypass dual-action Tri-X® filtration uses two filters, dedicated to the circulation pump and jet pumps, so every drop of water passes through filtration during operation.
