Who the Pulse® Is Built For

The Pulse fits households that want seven seats, open seating, and a central Foot Therapy pod, large family soaks, frequent entertaining, and a conversational layout where everyone's feet meet at the same set of jets. The Pulse is built as a conversation hub: every seat shares the same focal point, and the no-lounge geometry keeps the group facing each other. Limelight households get the mid-tier Hot Spring chassis (FiberCor® insulation, Vidro® Backlit Ribbon Waterfall, IQ 2020® Color LCD Control) without paying for the Highlife premium of standard-included salt water and Moto-Massage® DX. The Pulse is the Limelight model engineered for the largest open-seating gatherings.

The Pulse is FreshWater® IQ Ready, meaning the spa is engineered to accept the FreshWater® IQ salt-water sanitization platform, the system itself is sold separately rather than included standard. When fitted, the system uses a disposable titanium cartridge to generate chlorine from salt, sustaining "soft, natural-feeling water" without ongoing chemical dosing. Installation and Delivery

The Pulse requires a 230 V / 50 amp / 60 Hz circuit wired to a GFCI sub-panel, the sub-panel is included with the spa.

Site requirements:

Level reinforced concrete pad, deck capable of supporting 5,950 lbs filled, or a prepared spa pad
24" minimum service clearance on at least one side for equipment access
Standard delivery to ground-level installations

Water Care and Ongoing Maintenance

With FreshWater® IQ Ready plumbing, the Pulse accepts the FreshWater® IQ salt-water sanitization platform as an optional add-on at delivery or any time after. When fitted, week-to-week maintenance reduces to monitoring water clarity and replacing the salt cartridge when prompted. Adding Smart Monitoring + Dosing brings hourly chemistry monitoring and step-by-step dosing instructions through the Hot Spring Spas App, useful for owners who want minimal hands-on maintenance.

The 100% no-bypass dual-action Tri-X® filtration uses two filters, dedicated to the circulation pump and jet pumps, so every drop of water passes through filtration during operation, unlike spas that bypass their filters when jets are running.
