Highlife® Series by Hot Spring Spas

Moto-Massage® DX is the patented signature jet of the Highlife® Series. Two streams of water physically sweep up and down the entire back from a stationary seat, a moving-jet pattern unique to Hot Spring. Every Highlife model includes at least one Moto-Massage® DX position; the Grandee® and Vanguard® include two corner Moto-Massage® Bucket Seats.

Comfort Control® is the main intensity dial. Without changing seats, a bather moves "from a soft touch to a powerful massage" by adjusting overall water-flow intensity. It is paired with every Wavemaster®-driven Highlife model.

SmartJet® System selectively distributes water flow to specific jet groups and seats. A solo bather can route full pump capacity to one seat instead of splitting it across the whole spa; couples can dial up pressure on whichever pair of seats they occupy.

Every Highlife model ships FreshWater® IQ Ready with the FreshWater® IQ Salt System pre-installed at the factory. The system uses a disposable titanium cartridge to generate chlorine from salt, sustaining clean, soft, natural-feeling water, the most advanced salt-water platform in the Hot Spring lineup, engineered to hold water balance up to a full year between drain-and-refill cycles when properly maintained. FreshWater® IQ Smart Monitoring + Dosing, hourly chemistry monitoring and step-by-step dosing instructions through the Hot Spring Spas App, is offered as a further optional upgrade. The standard-included salt system is one of the defining features that separates the Highlife tier from the Limelight (which is IQ Ready, system sold separately) and the Hot Spot (which is Salt System Ready, non-IQ).

Highlife models use Tri-X® filters in a 100% no-bypass configuration, every drop of water passes through filtration during jet operation, unlike spas that bypass filters when jets are running. The Grandee® reaches 325 sq. ft. of effective filtration area.

The IQ 2020® Color LCD Touchscreen is the Highlife main control panel. Limelight and Hot Spot use the IQ 2020® LCD interface (button-driven); Highlife is the only series with the full touchscreen.

The BellaFontana® water feature, three illuminated arcs of water, is the Highlife signature water feature. Multi-Color LED Customizable Zone Lighting on the interior plus exterior Multi-Color LED with Timer complete the lighting package.

Wavemaster® jet pumps power the jets, typically the 9000 (one-speed) and 9200 (two-speed) at 2.5 HP continuous duty / 5.2 HP breakdown torque, with smaller models using a single Wavemaster® unit. The SilentFlo 5000® circulation pump runs continuously on less power than a 40-watt light bulb.

Highlife shells sit inside multiple layers of urethane foam, fully encapsulated against a polymeric substructure with an insulated polymeric base pan. The Patented Pump Shroud captures heat from the equipment compartment and transfers it back to the water. Highlife models are CEC and APSP 14 compliant.

Most Highlife models are hardwired 230 V / 50 amp / 60 Hz with a GFCI sub-panel included. Only the Jetsetter® offers a 115 V plug-and-play configuration (convertible to 230 V hardwired). Plan a licensed-electrician install before delivery for any 230 V model. Seven Seas coordinates electrical scheduling through the installation service.

Highlife filled weights range from roughly 3,000 lbs (Jetsetter®-class) to 5,810 lbs (Grandee®). A level reinforced concrete pad, a deck rated for the filled weight, or a prepared spa pad is required, plus 24" of service clearance on at least one side. The Grandee® at 8'4" × 7'7" is the largest Highlife footprint, confirm gate clearance, pathway width, and final placement before order.

Every Highlife ships with the FreshWater® IQ Salt System included standard. Owners can run the salt system from day one or operate the spa on traditional chlorine/bromine and activate the salt platform later. The IQ Smart Monitoring + Dosing upgrade is optional at any time after delivery.

Highlife® Series warranties run 7 years on structure, 7 years on shell surface, 5 years on cabinet / no-leak plumbing / No-Fault® heater / components, and 2 years on interior lighting. The 7-year shell coverage is one tier longer than Limelight (5-year shell) and substantially longer than Hot Spot (2-year shell).
