No. The Freeflow® Series uses a 2-Speed 1.5 HP jet pump that handles both jet operation and filtration, with no separate circulation pump. The SilentFlo 5000® is standard on Hot Spot®, Limelight®, and Highlife® only.

No. The pump is engineered for quiet continuous operation. The audible spa sounds during use come from the jet pumps when the jets are firing, not from the SilentFlo 5000®.

The pump shares maintenance with the rest of the Hot Spring water-turnover stack. The filter cartridge gets monthly cleaning under the filter care guide and replacement on the manufacturer cadence. The pump itself does not require feature-specific routine maintenance beyond what the water care service covers.

Continuous circulation keeps water moving through filtration, the heater, and the sanitizer distribution at all times. A timed-cycle architecture (single jet pump handling both jets and filtration) requires the spa to choose between jet operation and filtration at any given moment. A dedicated circulation pump removes that trade-off.
