100% No-Bypass Filtration is a filtration design philosophy rather than a filter type. The system is straightforward:
Many hot tub designs include a bypass: a path that allows some portion of water to skip the filter during high-flow jet operation or during heater operation. The bypass exists to prevent flow restriction at peak demand. Hot Spring's no-bypass design eliminates that path entirely. In other words, all the water is filtered all the time.

Most Highlife® and Limelight® models add Dual-Action Filtration to the no-bypass loop. In that configuration, two filter cartridges run inside the loop, one dedicated to the circulation pump flow and one to the jet pump flow.

No-bypass filtration is the design pattern (water cannot bypass the filter). Tri-X® is the cartridge type used on Highlife® and Limelight® inside that pattern. Hot Spot® uses the same no-bypass pattern but with a polyester cartridge instead of Tri-X®.
Larger spas with more bathers move more water, and the effective filtration area scales accordingly.
